Crye-Leike’s Victor Englert Ranks Among Top 250 Hispanic Agents in America

Huntsville, Ala. (July 3, 2017) – Victor Englert, a sales associate with Crye-Leike Real Estate Services in Huntsville, Ala., has been named one of the top Hispanic real estate agents in America by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Out of a pool of 900 candidates for the award, Englert ranked No. 5 nationally in the organization’s list of 2017 NAHREP Top 50 Individual Latino Real Estate Agents, recognized for generating 110 transaction sides in 2016. His production further ranked him No. 63 among its list of Top 250 Latino Agents, which includes agents who work in teams.

“The Top 250 list recognizes agents whose hard work and dedication has led them to close an outstanding number of transactions in an effort to increase the rate of sustainable Hispanic homeownership,” NAHREP said in its “2017 Top 250 Latino Agents” report.

“Since the start of my career, one of my goals has been to assist the Latino community in realizing their dreams of homeownership,” said Englert.

“Watching my immigrant mother adapt to life in the United States has shaped my understanding and allowed me to connect with families much like my own who are in need of guidance and a trusting liaison as they embark on their own home buying adventures.”

Englert has been a real estate professional in the Huntsville/Madison County, Alabama, area since 1990, specializing in residential, new construction, investment, land and lots, and foreclosures in Madison, Limestone and nearby counties. A graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Englert is retired from the U.S. Army Missile Command, having served as an engineer at Redstone Arsenal from 1985-2000.

“Victor and his sales team’s decision to join us have been good for Crye-Leike in the ‘Rocket City,'” said Managing Broker Jeffrey Nixon of Crye-Leike in Huntsville. “They seem very pleased with Crye-Leike’s business model and technology support systems.”

Hispanic Homeownership is Surging. According to the NAHREP, Hispanics were the only ethnic demographic with an increase to their homeownership rate in 2016, increasing from 45.6 percent in 2015 to 46.0 percent in 2016. The improvement came in a year when Hispanics also led in net household formations, adding a total net increase of 330,000 households.

The organization further states that overall homeownership rates in the U.S. are at their lowest levels in almost 50 years. Hispanics have broken from this trend due to their high workforce participation and the fervent desire to own a home.
