Crye-Leike’s Lynn Pfund Promoted to Managing Broker

Memphis, Tenn. (May 4, 2016) – Lynn Pfund of Cordova was promoted to principal & managing broker of Crye-Leike, REALTORS’ Cordova branch office, located at 894 Germantown Parkway in Cordova.

Previously serving as assistant manager of this office, Pfund is replacing Hank Hogue who is now Crye-Leike’s director of franchise sales.

She is responsible for managing a sales force of over 40 Crye-Leike sales associates who list and sell residential and commercial real estate in Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties.

Pfund has been in the real estate industry for 29 years, and recalls how her first home purchase was what led her to enter the real estate industry.

“I had an enjoyable experience, but a rather shocking one after I purchased my first home. I learned at tax time that I could not take the full deduction on my taxes due to the type of loan I received,” said Pfund. “I made a decision then about the real estate industry to educate others so they too would not fall victim to the same trap as me. My learning experience became my motivating factor in my obtaining my real estate license in 1987.”

In addition to her new administrative role, Pfund will continue to help single family homebuyers, sellers and investors list and sell their residential properties as broker/owner of The Mid-South Team at Crye-Leike, REALTORS, a division of The Pfund Group. Holding a broker’s license in Tennessee and Mississippi, she sells in Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties as well as in Desoto and Marshall counties in Miss.

She has attained numerous REALTOR designations to help her agents and clients, including: seller and buyer’s representation with the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS); Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) to be positioned to streamline operations, integrate new technology and apply new trends and business strategies; GREEN to know how to market properties with green features; an expert in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards and the sales process as a Graduate, Realtor’s Institute (GRI), and as a Certified Distressed Property Specialist (CDPE) and a Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) to work with

distressed sellers and the finance, tax and legal professionals who can help them, qualify sellers for short sales, develop a short sale package, negotiate with lenders, and protect buyers.

Her sales achievements include attaining membership in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS’ Multi-Million Dollar Club in 2013 and 2014, recognized for individually selling annually in excess of $3 million and meeting other stringent requirements as set forth by MAAR to achieve its annual total sales volume.

Through her REALTOR memberships in the National Association of REALTORS, Tennessee Association of REALTORS (TAR), Memphis Area Association of REALTORS (MAAR), and the Northwest Mississippi and Mississippi Association of Realtors, she has held several leadership positions. Those positions include being a member of MAAR’s Board of Directors in 2014 and recently served as its vice president in 2015; TAR’s director in 2014, 2015, and currently serves as 2016 co-chair of TAR’s REALTOR Political Action Committee.

While being an active REALTOR, Pfund still finds the time to serve her community. She is an active volunteer with Calvary Rescue Mission, a nonprofit, independent, faith-based shelter, located in Memphis, Tenn., that helps rebuild the lives of homeless men. She currently serves as its vice president, a position she has held since 2015 while being an active member of its board of directors since 2013. She is currently working with the mission on a capital campaign to raise $4 million through grants and private donations to build a new facility, having attained the $2.5 million mark, thus far.
