Crye-Leike Congratulates Realtor Stan Peacock On Earning His Designation As A Senior Real Estate Specialist

Hendersonville, Tennessee – Continuing education is important in any career field but for Realtors it’s vital in helping them better assist their buyers and sellers. This has been one of the biggest secrets of success for Crye-Leike Hendersonville agent Stan Peacock who prides himself on keeping his knowledge of the market current and up-to-date.

After earning several real estate designations over the past few years, Stan has another certification to add to his long list of continuing education credits. Stan recently earned his professional real estate designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) from the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). To earn certification as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, Stan completed a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and sellers age 55 and older.

“More than 5,000 people turn the age of 65 everyday in America. I felt it necessary to be better prepared to handle their particular needs in this ever changing real estate environment,” said Stan. “Most mature adults are looking at their “2nd half of life” as an opportunity to re-invent themselves and I’m excited to be more equipped with helping these clients find that perfect place to call home to enjoy their golden years in.”

The SRES designation certifies that a Realtor has demonstrated knowledge and expertise to counsel clients in the 55-plus age category through major financial and lifestyle transactions. Stan joins a select few Realtors who have earned the SRES as less than 2% of agents in the country have earned the honor of holding this designation.

“There are many mature adults each year who are faced with the burden of navigating a series of economic and lifestyle transitions as they look forward to retirement,” said Stan. “Even in the best economic times, changes and transitions are both exhilarating and stressful, and I would like to simplify my clients’ transitions and make them as pleasant, easy and profitable as possible.”

In order to better assist his clients, Stan has always valued the important role continuing education has played in his business. In addition to the SRES designation, Stan has also completed the required courses to be certified with his professional real estate designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Builder Specialist (CBS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Internet Marketing Professional (ePRO), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist (SFR) and as a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI).

Since 2001, Stan has been a licensed real estate sales associate with Crye-Leike, REALTORS assisting buyers and sellers in and around Sumner, Davidson, Robertson, and Wilson counties. He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on first-time homebuyers, new construction and investment properties. Stan is an active member of the Sumner County Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR). He is the current 2011 President of Sumner Association of Realtors.
