New Sumner Association Of Realtors President Still Believes In Power Of Homeownership

Nashville, Tenn., – After a decade spent working with buyers and sellers, Agent Stan Peacock has all of the right qualities it will take to lead the Sumner Association of Realtors as its newly installed 2011 President.


Peacock has been an active member of the SAR for many years. Stan assists clients and conducts his business by the slogan “Exceeding Your Expectations” and that’s exactly what he plans to do as he leads the SAR through 2011.


“It’s an honor to serve my fellow Realtors as the President of the SAR Board,” said Peacock. “I will continue to do my part to keep our association strong and vibrant. I have many ideas and goals to help our group grow and improve this year.”


Peacock is optimistic for the 2011 housing market having already seen signs of improvement. He continues to maintain a positive attitude and still strongly believes in the power of homeownership.


“Home ownership matters, more than ever,” said Peacock. “Our community, our children, local businesses and all areas benefit from home ownership. The American Dream is still alive, and we must continue our push for financial institutions to ease the strict guidelines to help increase home ownership possibilities.”


Peacock adds, “Increased education for our clients and Realtor professionals will be a high priority for the coming year.”


In order to better assist his clients, Peacock has always valued the important role continuing education has played in his business while trying to keep his knowledge of the market sharp and up-to-date.


Peacock took all the required classes to be certified with his professional real estate designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Builder Specialist (CBS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Internet Marketing Professional (ePRO), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist (SFR) and as a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI).


Since 2001 Peacock has been a licensed real estate sales associate with Crye-Leike, REALTORS assisting buyers and sellers in and around Sumner, Davidson, Robertson, and Wilson counties. He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on first-time homebuyers, new construction and investment properties.

In 2008, Peacock was inducted into Crye-Leike’s prestigious Circle of Excellence. It is the company’s highest honor, recognizing sales associates for their service to Crye-Leike, the community and profession. Peacock is among a select group of associates in the Greater Middle Tennessee Region who hold the honor and have been bestowed by Crye-Leike with the title of Vice President.


In 2004 Stan served as Vice President of the Gallatin Kiwanis Club. He also holds a first Degree Black Belt in Martial Arts.
