Crye-Leike?s Top Middle Tennessee Agent Margaret Dixon celebrates her success on being named as the 2010 ?Realtor of the Year? by the Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR) at their annual awards banquet and convention.

NASHVILLE, TN., – Crye-Leike’s Lifetime #1 Agent for Middle Tennessee has earned another great title to add to her 32 year real estate career. Mt. Juliet Realtor Margaret Dixon was recently named “Realtor of the Year” by the Tennessee Association of Realtors.

 

“Being awarded as the TAR “REALTOR of the Year” for 2010 means so much to me,” said Dixon. “It is an honor that has been given to me and it’s definitely a high-light in my career. It is very humbling to think that I would be chosen out of so many other very deserving REALTORS.”

 

For the past 32 years, Dixon has enjoyed helping hundreds of buyers and sellers find that perfect place to call home in and around Middle Tennessee. She specializes in assisting clients primarily in Davidson and Wilson counties.

 

“I love what I do,” said Dixon “I have been very fortunate and blessed to participate in this industry for 32 years and I plan to keep going even stronger. Having this award will only make me strive to work harder and help my clients however I can while always treating each of them how I would want to be treated.”

 

Dixon is no stranger to success and has accomplished many achievements in her career. She was named Crye-Leike’s Lifetime #1 Agent for Middle Tennessee in 2004 as the top sales associate for 10 consecutive years, and she remains as the only Agent in the region to achieve this record.  Dixon was also named “Realtor of the Year” in 1989, 1995 and in 2001 for Wilson County where she lives and is proud to call home.

 

“During my real estate career, I have held a few key components of success very close to me including the importance of honesty, integrity, humility and the acknowledgement that there is always room for further education in all aspects of this industry,” said Dixon.

 

Knowing the importance of continuing education, Dixon earned her professional real estate designations as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and as a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI). She is a lifetime member of the Wilson County Board of Realtors Million Dollar Sales Club and is also a member of Crye-Leike’s Circle of Excellence making her an honorary Vice-President for the company.

 

“I have earned several designations and held many positions on the local, state, and national levels, but most important is the fact that this industry has allowed me the privilege to develop many rewarding relationships with my clients along with strong friendships with other REALTORS from one end of the state to the other,” said Dixon. “I truly feel blessed for that.”

 

Dixon adds, “My clients and their communities are very important to me, along with the community in which I reside, and my clients will continue to be the center of my focus.”
