Bella Vista Realtor Engineers New Career In Home Sales

BELLA VISTA, AR., – For more than four decades Marvin Dutton put his talents as an Electrical Engineer to work on projects across the US, Canada and Mexico. He takes great pride in knowing his work has created great environments for people to live, work and enjoy life.

“40 years is a long time to pursue a career in the same field these days, but when you do something you enjoy, you stay with it,” said Dutton. “I hit the workforce right after graduating from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois – and in January of 2009 I had the opportunity to retire, and the timing seemed right.”

Dutton retired from STV, Inc – headquartered in Douglassville Pennsylvania and New York City – as a Senior Electrical Engineer and stockholder. He had been with the firm for five years.

“My wife Pat and I decided on Bella Vista for our retirement because of the beautiful weather and extremely friendly people,” said Dutton. “After getting settled in I decided to start a second career in real estate? a second act you could say that I’m very excited about.”

Having been on the engineering side of real estate for all those years, Dutton understands sound construction practices inside out – and real estate sales from his own personal transactions over the years.

“I decided to get into selling real estate with a passion to give my clients the best service they could hope for,” said Dutton. “I have dealt with real estate agents throughout my professional career? some in my opinion were very good and some were very bad at their jobs.”

Another major decision for Dutton was how and where he would practice his new real estate sales career. He said he looked at several companies in the NWA region and chose Crye-Leike, REALTORS and its Bella Vista branch office located at 3463 Bella Vista Way.

“I am pleased so far with my choice to join Crye-Leike,” said Dutton. “I believe the company holds the qualities and professionalism that I am looking for in this business.”

Using an analytical approach of sorts, much like he did as an Electrical Engineer, Dutton focuses on embodying only the good qualities to become the ideal Realtor for his clients.

“I also wanted to add my own flare,” said Dutton. “Being one of the best Realtors in the business in Northwest Arkansas is now my goal.”
