For Heber Springs Financial Manager Turned Realtor It All Adds Up

GREERS FERRY, AR., – Crunching the numbers as a financial manager, accounting manager and office manager is stressful work? and a career Jo Anne Wyatt enjoyed for 25 years. While she may be giving it up in pursuit of her passion to buy and sell real estate – her background as a professional focused on the bottom line will definitely benefit her business as a Realtor at Crye-Leike Brock Real Estate.

“I am very optimistic that with a lot of hard work and dedication I can be successful,” said Jo Anne. “Even though I seem to be working many more hours than I did when I was working on the financial side – I enjoy the flexibility.”

For 19 years, Jo Anne was the financial manager at HazenTec, LLC in Hazen Arkansas. When she relocated to Heber Springs she joined Arkansas Boating Center, Inc. as the Accounting Manager. Most recently – she served as the Office Manager for Falcon Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in Conway.

“After joining Crye-Leike in March of this year on a part-time basis, I decided to go full time with my work in real estate,” said Jo Anne. “It was a very hard decision for me to give up a steady paycheck for the hopes of a commission check. With the support of my husband of 28 years, he encouraged me to just do it.”

Jo Anne says she’s taking it all in as fast as possible. She especially appreciates the support she’s getting from her friends and new colleagues at Crye-Leike Brock Real Estate in Heber Springs and Greers Ferry.

“After speaking with Boyd Anderson, the Owner and Managing Broker of Crye-Leike Brock Real Estate, for the first time – I knew that Crye-Leike was the company that I needed to join,” said Jo Anne. “Everybody in the Heber Springs and Greers Ferry offices has been very helpful to me in trying to get my new career started.”

With her background in finance and passion to help clients buy and sell real estate, Jo Anne is confident her new full-time career as a Realtor will add up to success.

“I have always thought that I would like to sell real estate because I enjoyed house hunting with my friends and family and going to open houses,” said Jo Anne. “I also enjoy watching HGTV and TLC network shows to get decorating ideas that can be helpful in the staging of homes for sale.”
