Benton Native Unplugs From Wireless Sales To Pursue Home Sales

BENTON, AR., – As a born and raised Benton native, Tonya Beaty Parks has been a big fan of all things her hometown has to offer. The 84′ graduate of Benton High School has stayed active in recent years raising three amazing kids with her husband Robin. And for the past eight years owning and operating Yakety Yak Communications, a wireless phones and accessories business – took her community spirit to new heights.

“Sadly after eight years it was decided for me that the wireless business was not to be at this time in my life,” said Tonya. “I enjoyed being in that field at the time and must say I miss it very much.”

Not one to dwell on the past for too long? Tonya – a true salesperson through and through – realized the time was right to embrace her love for real estate and become a licensed Realtor.

“Like a lot of people I’ve been a huge fan of the home sales and home transformation shows on networks like HGTV for years,” said Tonya.  “If I wasn’t going to do wireless anymore, I wanted to do something I was really passionate about and real estate is at the top of my list.”

As a hometown girl, Tonya knows Benton like the back of her hand. She loves her community and recently decided to join Crye-Leike, REALTORS – where she is launching her new ?full time’ real estate sales career.

“I joined Crye-Leike for so many reasons,” said Tonya. “The company has a great reputation and the people – well they are simply the best in the business? I could go on and on.”

Using the company’s marketing and technology – Tonya feels she can help clients of all ages plug into the new and evolving resources available to help sellers showcase their homes and assist buying in staying up to date on the newest listings.

“I have always enjoyed selling and working with people,” said Tonya “It has been and always will be my primary goal to give the best customers service that I possibly can,”

Tonya is clearly seeing the bright-side of her transition from wireless to real estate – and being able to sell Benton in a way she had once only dreamed of.

“Surprisingly the change has been a positive one,” said Tonya. “I have always loved the real estate business and always will. My hope it to provide all of my clients with the very best of what I have to offer.”
