Cobb County Realtor Sees More Opportunity On The Horizon

CHEROKEE, GA., – As he goes about his daily routine of meeting with new clients and checking in with business colleagues, Associate Broker Ron Cochran is always mindful of the opportunities that lay ahead. Over the past four decades the real estate sales professional has dedicated his livelihood to building better communities one house and one neighborhood at a time.

“As one of the original members of the Kennesaw Business Association (KBA) formed back in 1975 I’ve watched the phenomenal -yet controlled growth of the region,” said Cochran. “For many years I helped developers obtain the land for new neighborhoods and businesses? assisting them with zoning matters? and it’s been very rewarding.”

It’s not really surprising to Cochran what attracts business people and families alike to the region. As he sees it? the great schools, civic groups and ?small town feel’ has all been carefully planned with controlled development. And Cochran has had a hand and influence on many projects.

“In addition to my many years serving on the KBA board and as a past president, I have also been very active on the Cobb Chamber of Commerce board of directors and chaired the North Cobb division,” said Cochran. “I was especially honored this year when they named the Spirit Award Scholarship in my honor? which is awarded to an outstanding college bound student each year.”

Cochran’s four decade long career in real estate began with Barnes Realty where he launched his real estate sales businesses? and which eventually lead him to the formation of Choice Properties, Inc. in Marietta which he co-owned from 1975 to 2010.

“Having been in the business for 42 years I was looking for an aggressive company to move ahead with,” said Cochran. “Crye-Leike has a lot to offer in the way of tools and technology to better assist today’s internet savvy buyers and sellers and will help to take my business forward for the next 42 years.”
