New Year Brings New Leadership To Crye-Leike In Chattanooga

OOLTEWAH, TN., – Returning to profitability has remained one of the great challenges the past two years for the owners and managers at Crye-Leike, REALTORS. As signs of improving housing market conditions appear at the start of 2010 in Greater Chattanooga, the company is putting a familiar face in charge of managing what it hopes to be a year where profits begin to emerge once again.

“I feel honored to have been selected by our cofounder & CEO Harold Crye to lead such a wonderful operation,” said Dan Griess, Crye-Leike’s NEW Regional General Manager. “As we emerge from what has proven to be a tough couple of years for the real estate industry, I see our associates well positioned to assist buyers and sellers as property values begin to stabilize and options for buyers are the best they’ve been in years.”

With 14 years of real estate sales experience – and having served the company the past two years as the Managing Broker of the company’s Ooltewah branch office – Griess brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table for Crye-Leike.

“I am very excited about the future and look forward to growing our company’s market share,” said Griess. “Our top priority continues to be providing unmatched service to our customers and clients while ensuring our agent’s continued growth and success”.

In 2009, Crye-Leike agents in the company’s Greater Chattanooga Region sold more than $530 million dollars in real estate, a figure that keeps the company #1 in Greater Chattanooga with a 17% market share.

“While some companies have been struggling and hanging-on through these tough times Crye-Leike has been retooling,” said Griess. “The company has been rolling out an assortment of new tools, technologies and strategies to offer our buyers the greatest search capabilities and the best online property showcase for our sellers.”

In addition to serving as the new Regional General Manager, Griess will continue in his role as the Managing Broker of the company’s Ooltewah, Tennessee branch office located at 5913 Main Street.
