After Raising Thousands Of Dollars For United Way
MT. JULIET, TN., – Realtors work with buyers and sellers in the community everyday – and it’s no surprise that many agents take time out of their schedules on several occasions during the year to give back to their communities.
Giving back to the community has always been an important goal for the sale associates in Crye-Leike, REALTORS Mt. Juliet office.
After recently raising $3,845 for United Way of Wilson County by hosting their annual Martin Cummings Sweet Tooth Auction, Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet Realtors are at it again.
The office will host its second blood drive for 2009 on Thursday, November 12. Each year the American Red Cross Blood Mobile visits Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet branch in the spring and fall months providing a convenient way for the public to donate.
“We feel this is a very worthy cause for our community,” said Blood Drive Coordinator and Crye-Leike Realtor Betty Robinson. “It’s been my pleasure to organize the blood drives for our office the past few years. With the help of our entire office and the public who come out to donate, the blood drives we have are always a huge success.”
Thanks to Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet Realtors and the public who stopped by the office in March to donate at their last drive, 31 units of blood were collected to benefit the American Red Cross.
“Our blood drives are a joint effort and always well worth the time and energy we put into it!” said Robinson. “We hope to see many people come out to our upcoming blood drive in November and have a strong support from the public like we did at our last event.”
Appointments are now being accepted for the blood drive that will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 11:00am – 4:00pm at the Crye-Leike Mt. Juliet sales center. Anyone wanting to donate blood should call the office to schedule a time to give.
“We want to encourage the public to stop by our office and give the gift of life,” said Robinson. “Each pint of blood donated can save as many as three lives and also goes to help the Red Cross maintain a ready supply of blood for emergencies. Locally, 800 pints of blood are needed each day in the Greater Nashville area.”
