Crye-Leike, REALTORS Names Glenda Edwards As Managing Broker

SPRINGDALE, AR., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce the selection of Glenda Edwards as the company’s newest Managing Broker to serve in the Northwest Arkansas Region. She will oversee day-to day management and operations of the Crye-Leike Springdale, Arkansas branch office at its new location on Highway 412 West.

“Harold Crye offered me the position to manage Crye-Leike’s Springdale Branch at its new location and I was pleased to accept this offer,” said Glenda. “I enjoy the role of working for agents and brokers who are serious about being the best in the real estate business and I know how to help them be the best.”

Glenda has been in the real estate profession for 24 years. In 1989, she moved to Northwest Arkansas and became a top producer in new construction sales with Cooper Homes and was promoted to a management role in 1995.

“Knowing how to work smart and view the cup half full makes me optimistic about assisting new and veteran agents and brokers with “taking back” their share of the market,” said Glenda. “I look forward to helping agents return to using very basic ?work smart’ skills to grow their real estate business. Taking that idea and joining it with Crye-Leike’s technology and marketing tools, I believe the sky is the limit for each producer.”

After owning her own real estate company in Bella Vista, Glenda was hired by the Griffin Company to help grow their business. She served as a general sales manager with the company for six years.

“My career as a general sales manager proved to be very rewarding for me,” said Glenda. “I loved working for real estate agents and brokers, motivating them and helping them increase their individual listings and sales volumes which in return helped the company grow.”

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Glenda had the opportunity to work in her own consulting firm assisting small real estate companies in Alabama and Florida.

“I’m excited to be back in Northwest, Arkansas with my family and friends and eager to help Crye-Leike’s new Springdale office grow,” said Glenda. “I enjoy training and motivating agents to reach their goals and maintain a healthy balance of personal life and career.”

Glenda is a licensed Realtor in Arkansas assisting buyers and sellers in and around Washington and Benton counties. She specializes in all types of residential real estate sales and is a member of the Metro Area Board of Realtors, the Rogers Board of Realtors, the Arkansas Association of Realtors (ARA) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

“I believe the real secret to being a good manager is recognizing ?it is all about the agents.’ They deserve a manager they can count on,” said Glenda. “I plan to be that manager for Crye-Leike’s agents and brokers, working hands on with help and encouragement.”

Glenda lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas near her two sons and her four grandchildren. When she isn’t busy assisting real estate clients, Glenda enjoys vacationing at the beach and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
