Crye-Leike, REALTORS Congratulates Affiliate Brokers Ron & Nancy Guy Upon Earning Their Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation

GERMANTOWN, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Affiliate Brokers Ron & Nancy Guy have successfully earned their professional real estate designations as Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES). They are Realtors with Crye-Leike based out of the company’s Germantown – Forest Hill Irene branch office located at 2020 Forest Hill Irene in Germantown, Tennessee.


“This program makes a REALTOR stop and think as to the specific needs of the consumers in the 50 and older market,” said Ron.  In addition, this program deals in not only this generation’s priorities, but also assists in improving our communication skills.  We can now better understand and address priorities, expectations, as well as experiences with those clients having experienced different situations in life.”


To earn certification as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Ron and Nancy completed a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and sellers age 50 and older.


“With all of the “baby boomers” now retiring, they have become an enormous growing populous which is large enough to substantially impact housing developments, expected home amenities, and neighborhood services around the country,” said Nancy.  “In addition, the SRES course assisted in our communication skills with these clients.”


The SRES designation certifies that a Realtor has demonstrated knowledge and expertise to counsel clients in the 50-plus-age category through major financial and lifestyle transactions.


“This designation allows us to have a far better understanding and awareness of needs, and priorities of a large developing market in Real Estate, that being the over 50 generation,” said Ron.  “We are very excited not only to better serve this market, but be a part of this market ourselves.”
