Crye-Leike, REALTORS Teams Up With Builder Michael Sullivan As The Middle Tennessee Developer Gets Back To New Home Construction

NASHVILLE, TN., – When new home sales slowed in late 2007, Builder Michael Sullivan reacted and slowed his construction pace too.  His calculations resulted in far less un-sold inventory than some of his competitors.  Today Michael Sullivan has not only weathered the construction downturn personally but he wasn’t forced to slash prices and simultaneously helped to preserve home values.

“It was a tricky call on my part when to slow things down based on market conditions and the drop in new home sales,” said Michael Sullivan.  “As a result in the Apple Valley community which I developed and was the primary builder – I didn’t have a lot of unsold homes and wasn’t forced to discount my prices hurting the families that purchased from me when the market was up.”

Today Broker Kendra Cooke, one of Crye-Leike, REALTORS’ top producing agents, is on board to handle the marketing and sales support for Michael Sullivan as he ramps-up his new construction activity at Apple Valley.

“I have to hand it to him? he’s waited for the market to rebound and is listening to the real estate agents and potential buyers,” said Kendra Cooke of Crye-Leike, REALTORS.  “He’s back building what consumers want which is a one story home on a level lot with finished bonus rooms, large bedrooms and closets.

Home prices in Apple Valley start at $204,000 and builder/co-developer Michael Sullivan will assist buyers with their closing costs.

“Having worked with many builders across Middle Tennessee, Michael strikes me as being among the most stable and loves meeting with his buyers and delivering what amounts to a custom home with tons of custom-like features that come standard,” said Kendra.  “His homes offer buyers a nice bang for their buck and in this economy that’s so important as people shop around and demand quality at a price they can afford.

The Apple Valley Subdivision is located at the intersection of Red Apple Road and Old Hickory Blvd – just west of Interest 24 in Southeast Davidson County.

“I’m very optimistic about the market, signs of recovery and I’m hoping to complete Apple Valley in the next 18 months to two years,” said Michael.  “After we finish building there I am eager to start a new project of single family homes.”
