Crye-Leike, REALTORS Starwood Agents Encourage The Public To Donate Household Goods & Non-Perishable Food Items To Its Second Harvest Fundraiser

NASHVILLE, TN., – Agents at Crye-Leike, REALTORS Starwood office are encouraging folks in the community to de-clutter their apartments, homes and offices and donate unwanted new and slightly worn items to its garage sale fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank.

The office is also accepting monetary donations and non-perishable food items to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. All proceeds from the garage sale will be donated to Second Harvest.

“Since opening our new Starwood office, we have been dedicated to finding a very meaningful cause in order to give back to the community,” said Affiliate Broker/Office Administrator Wanda Batson. “We discovered there was a dire need in the community to help feed the hungry of Davidson and Rutherford Counties and we went to work immediately on a fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank.”

Crye-Leike’s Starwood Branch will host its Second Harvest Garage Sale on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the office parking lot located at 12647 Old Hickory Boulevard in Nashville. Agents invite the community to join their efforts in supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank and drop by the Starwood office with non-perishable food items, monetary donations, and garage sale items anytime Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:30.

“All of the sales associates and staff in the office feel our efforts along with the help of the public will make a great impact on helping eliminate hunger in our surrounding counties,” said Managing Broker Tim Mills. “I am a resident of Rutherford County and have sold many homes there as well as in Davidson County and have seen the need in these communities. I am thankful for the opportunity to have our office host this wonderful fundraiser and look forward to making it an annual event.”

Crye-Leike’s Starwood Agents invite everyone in the community to come to the garage sale on August 15 to find a bargain and support the Second Harvest Food Bank. They hope to see many people drop by the office and enjoy some of the hot dogs, snacks and drinks that will be on sale to raise funds for the food bank.
