Smyrna Realtor Heather Karl Invites Anxious Buyers To A Free Educational Homebuyer?s Workshop To Learn Why Now Is The Best Time To Buy

SMYRNA, TN., – The clock is ticking down on the government’s $8,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers as the credit expires November 30. First-time homebuyers and anyone who hasn’t owned a home in three years have less than four months to search for and close on a home before the opportunity to receive the $8,000 credit ends.

Crye-Leike Smyrna Realtor Heather Karl invites the public to attend a FREE educational homebuyer’s workshop and find out why now is the best time to purchase a home.

“I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is even considering buying a home right now,” said Heather. “With the $8,000 tax credit for first-time buyers, with interest rates still at a historical low and with a good selection of homes on the market to choose from, now is a great time for anyone to purchase a home.”

The workshop will educate buyers on several important home buying topics including: how and where to start looking for a home, successful budgeting, improving your credit score, how to get pre-approved for a home loan and how to receive 100% financing. Potential buyers are encouraged to come ask questions and learn about the entire home buying process from searching for a home and making an offer to signing papers at the closing table.

“It’s important for the community to be educated about what’s involved in the buying process,” said Heather. “I encourage people to come to the workshop and discover their best options for buying in this market. This is a wonderful time to stop throwing money away on rent and start investing in your future.”

Magna Bank Loan Specialist Michele Ballard will be at the workshop answering buyers financing questions and providing help with getting pre-approved for a home loan.

The workshop will be held at Crye-Leike, REALTORS Smyrna branch office located at 599 Sam Ridley Parkway on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 starting at 7pm. The event is free but an RSVP is encouraged to ensure there will be enough informational packets and refreshments for everyone.

Attendees will receive a free informational packet with important home buying tips and budgeting plans and can sign up to receive new home listings e-mailed to them daily making their house hunting much easier and quicker.
