Crye-Leike, REALTORS Names Lea Ellison Regional Chair

HUNTSVILLE, AL., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce the selection of Realtor Lea Ellison as its Regional Chair for the company’s 2009 United Way Campaign in the Greater Huntsville and Madison County region.  Lea is a licensed sales associate with The Roy Claytor Team based out of Crye-Leike’s branch location at 4092 South Memorial Parkway.

“Helping each other through the rough spots is what being human is all about,” said Lea.  “Our support of United Way agencies helps others in our community survive and sometimes transcend the rough spots in their lives. Our volunteering and giving help smooth the rough spots in our own lives as well.”

Lea will work closely with soon to be named Office Captains in Crye-Leike’s three branch sales centers in the region at: 4092 South Memorial Parkway and 2745 Bob Wallace Avenue in Huntsville and 1591 Hughes Road in Madison.  She will coordinate between each office and United Way of Madison County to ensure the highest level of financial generosity and community involvement during the upcoming campaign month of September.

“It is important that we all recognize the importance of volunteerism to a healthy community and the importance of corporate support for non-profits and human service organizations as they face the challenges the present economy presents to traditional philanthropic donors,” said Lea.  “Based on my past experience working with non-profits, I have nothing but high praise for the financial generosity and outpouring of volunteerism that characterize the Huntsville/Madison metro business community.”

For seven years Lea served as the Executive Director of The Arts Council and the Panoply four-day annual arts festival.  She currently serves on the City of Huntsville Beautification Board and the Advisory Board of Burritt – A Living Museum.

Lea is a licensed Realtor in Alabama assisting buyers and sellers in and around Madison County.  She specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on relocation and new home construction.  Lea is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified New Home Sales Professional. She maintains active memberships in the Huntsville Area Association of Realtors (HAAR), Alabama Association of Realtors (AAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).

“Like my work in the community, in business it’s all about my clients and not about me,” said Lea.  “When buyers are ready for a new home, my job is to listen to their stories, understand their needs, help them find the right home at the right price, and work diligently to make every step of the purchase process as stress-free as possible.  When a family is ready to sell, I provide the market knowledge, negotiating skill and reliable and caring communication to meet their specific needs.”
