GERMANTOWN, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Affiliate Broker Ron Guy has obtained his “Graduate, REALTOR? Institute” (GRI) designation.  He is a licensed Sales Associate in the company’s Germantown, Tennessee branch office located at 3030 Forest Hill-Irene.


Ron earned the GRI designation by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering a variety of subjects including:  contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction.


“The designation of “Graduate, REALTOR Institute” is very meaningful,” said Ron.  “This allows me the opportunity to best serve not only the general public, but my fellow REALTORS as well, in a more educated and professional manner.”

Institute (GRI) designation is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. REALTORS? with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients.

Ron is a licensed REALTOR in Tennessee and Mississippi assisting buyers and sellers in and around Shelby County Tennessee and Desoto County Mississippi.  He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on condominiums and townhomes. Ron is a member of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and with MAAR he serves on the Budget & Finance Committee, REALTOR Political Action Committee and Professional Development Committee.


Prior to joining his wife Nancy in real estate sales, from 1970 to 2008 Ron served in the financial community in a senior management role.  His focus in later years was in sales and marketing training techniques to workers in financial institutions nationwide.


Ron values his great relationships with other real estate, and financial professionals and strives to surround himself with other professionals caring, and serving their valued customers.

Community service is extremely important to Ron.  For more than 20 years he has maintained a key volunteer position with the annual Youth Villages 5K Run.  Ron has also been active with Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America, Chickasaw Council  (Explorer Division), Sales and Marketing Executives of Memphis, National Heart Association and Career Support Ministry within his church.


As a result of a longstanding commitment to Youth Villages, Ron and his wife Nancy have been recognized with the Lion’s Heart Award and Ron has the distinguished honor of being the 27th inductee to the Louisiana Speakers Hall of Fame.
