Middle Tennessee Crye-Leike Realtor Gary Edick is the new Commander of the Brentwood American Legion Post 156. In addition to his new duties for the Brentwood American Legion Post 156, Gary also serves as the current President of the Kiwanis Club of Cool Springs/Williamson County.

FRANKLIN, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to recognize Middle Tennessee Realtor Gary Edick upon his induction as the NEW Commander of the Brentwood American Legion Post 156.  He is a sales agent with the company and based out of the Crye-Leike Cool Springs branch office located at 206-A Cool Springs Blvd., Suite 101 in Franklin, Tennessee.

 

“I am honored to step into the role as Commander and maintain the post’s commitment to our community, schools and service to veterans,” said Gary.  “The Brentwood American Legion works with four high schools in Williamson County and their ROTC programs. We present awards to each schools’ outstanding scholarship and leadership ROTC students.”

 

In addition to several fundraisers that generate money for Veteran’s who are hospitalized in Williamson County, Gary says the post members also perform a “Dignified Flag Retirement” each fall with the Brentwood Fire Department and a ceremony that includes students from local schools.

 

In addition to his new duties for the Brentwood American Legion Post 156, Gary also serves as the current President of the Kiwanis Club of Cool Springs/Williamson County. He assumed that duty in the spring of 2008.

 

The Kiwanis of Cool Springs/Williamson County’s mission is “We’re a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.”

 

“We participate in Special Olympic events and the annual Scott Hartman Track Meet in Brentwood,” said Gary.  “We sponsor the Franklin Christmas Parade, the upcoming Kiwanis Disc Golf Park with the Parks Department of Franklin, various Christmas programs for children and many other charity events that help the children of Williamson County.”

 

In 2007 club members designated a grant in the amount of $3,750 to the Second Harvest Food Bank to support its “Against The Grain” Summer Children’s Camp.

 

Gary is a licensed Affiliate Broker in Tennessee assisting buyers and sellers in and around Williamson, Davidson, Maury and Hickman counties.  He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on first-time homebuyers, new home construction, condominiums, town homes, farm and land. Gary is a member of the Williamson County Association of Realtors (WCAR) in which he serves on the Membership Services committee and he is member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

 

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Gary was a Sales Executive with All Points Industries in Pompano Florida.
