Anxious Buyers & Sellers Invited To Attend Crye-Leike, REALTORS

MT. JULIET, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Mt. Juliet invite the public to a Free Informational Housing Seminar on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 from 10am to 2pm. The event will be held at Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet office located at 1285 North Mt. Juliet Road.

“The main goal of our event is to raise awareness about the opportunities that are available in today’s housing market,” said Kim Rios, Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet Office Managing Broker. “We realize there is a lot of negative news out there right now and we feel we need to spread the good news; therefore, we are calling this event ?Opportunity Knocks 2009′.”

Crye-Leike Agents in Mt. Juliet and Magna Bank are teaming up to offer free professional advice to anyone considering a purchase or sale in today’s tricky housing market.  The seminar will focus on helping first-time home buyer’s and anyone who hasn’t owned a home in 3 years learn how they can take advantage of the $8,000 stimulus tax credit available to them if they purchase a home by November 30th, 2009.

Another important detail potential homebuyers will learn at the workshop is why now is a great time for anyone to invest in a home.

“Real Estate is a vital component in the road to recovery for our economy,” said Dwayne Hampton, Loan Office for Magna Bank. “With the introduction of the $8,000 tax credit, historically low interest rates and low home prices, we have put the pieces in places to make a turnaround in the real estate market. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of information the public doesn’t know or understand.”

During the seminar, Crye-Leike Agents and Magna Bank Loan Officer Dwayne Hampton will educate prospective buyers on several important topics that people experience in the home buying process. They will walk potential buyers through the entire buying process starting with locating that perfect home, writing an offer, to signing papers at the closing table. The real estate professionals will also go over the importance of knowing your credit report and take buyers through the loan process helping them get pre-qualified for a home loan and discuss any financing questions the buyer may have.

Sellers can also find out about what things they can do to help sell their homes quicker in this current buyers market. Prospective sellers can hear what’s happening in their local housing market instead of all the gloom and doom they hear in national media reports.

“It’s important for the community to be educated about what’s involved in the buying and selling process especially in the current market,” said Hampton. “There are many great opportunities and incentives for buyers today. If you are currently renting, stop throwing your money away and come learn how you can start investing in your future.”

The seminar is being set up in a fun, relaxed environment with free hot dogs, snow cones, chips, drinks and more. A drawing will be held for a LCD TV, an alarm system with four free months of monitoring, a home inspection and several gift cards. Other small prizes will be given away to the winners of the bean bag toss and a few other games that are planned for the event.

“We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is even considering buying or selling a home right now,” said Rios. “Come sit down with us and go over all the concerns and questions you have and discover your best options for today’s market.”
