ALPHARETTA, GA., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS Crabapple/Roswell branch office would like to extend a special Thank You to the community for making their First Annual “Support The Troops With Crye-Leike” Spring Carnival a hugh success. The carnival was held at the office on Saturday April 18 from 11:30 – 3:00pm and Agents and employees were busy collecting care items to send to the troops overseas.

The event was FREE to everyone who donated at least one care item for the soldiers. Around 400 kids and adults showed up for the carnival fun helping the office collect carloads of donations for the soldiers. Among the care items donated were books, magazines, disposable cameras, toiletries, phone cards, socks, candy, non-perishable foods and snacks, and much more.

“While everyone had a great time at the carnival, in return the troops will get some goodies from back home that will hopefully bring a big smile to their face.” said Lauren Holmes, Managing Broker of Crye-Leike’s Crabapple/Roswell office.

Everyone in attendance enjoyed plenty of FREE hotdogs, popcorn and cotton candy and the kids were entertained by a giant inflatable slide and moonwalk, face painting, a balloon artist and other fun activities planned for them.

“We have been so inspired and moved by the sacrifices our men and women in the armed forces have been making overseas for the past seven-plus years that our plans for a spring carnival became all about supporting them and saying thanks,” said Lauren. “Several of the agents in our office have close family and friends serving abroad so this event is very personal and we were thankful for the large crowd that attended the carnival and helped us have lots of items to send to the troops.”
