Anxious Buyers Invited To Attend A Free Informational Home Buying 101 Workshop Hosted By Crye-Leike Affiliate Brokers Lee Campbell and Charlie Fenner

Nashville, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS Affiliate Brokers Lee Campbell and Charlie Fenner are teaming up with Magna Bank Loan Officer Michele Ballard offering the community a FREE Homebuyer’s 101 Workshop that will provide professional advice and information to prospective buyers and sellers considering a purchase or sale in today’s tricky housing market.

“We feel that there are a lot of people out there who are nervous about owning their own home and confused about how the housing market is doing,” said Crye-Leike Midtown Affiliate Broker Lee Campbell. “They are not sure if they should wait six months to a year from now and others are afraid to even take the first step and apply for a home loan. We believe that the public needs the help of a good real estate agent more than ever these days, and we are tying to get as much information out to the public as possible.”

The Home Buying 101 Workshop will be focused on helping first-time home buyer’s and anyone who hasn’t owned a home in 3 years learn how they can take advantage of the $8,000 stimulus tax credit available to them if they purchase a home in 2009.

“We understand that buying your first home is a big and frightening step,” said Crye-Leike Midtown Affiliate Broker Charlie Fenner. “The workshop is designed to help relieve some of the stress in the home buying process. There are a lot of people who do not understand what the new $8,000 stimulus tax credit means for them and how they don’t have to pay this money back like people had to do with the first $7,500 tax incentive.”

During the workshop, Affiliate Brokers Lee Campbell and Charlie Fenner and Loan Officer Michele Ballard will educate prospective buyers on several important topics that people experience in the home buying process. They will walk potential buyers through the entire buying process starting with locating that perfect home, writing an offer, to signing papers at the closing table. The real estate professionals will also go over the importance of knowing your credit report and take buyers through the loan process helping them get pre-qualified for a home loan and discuss any financing questions the buyer may have.

Another important detail potential home buyers will learn at the workshop is why now is a great time for anyone to invest in a home.

“In today’s market conditions, now is an excellent time to purchase a home in this buyer’s market,” said Lee. “With more affordable homes, historically low interest rates and a number of homes on the market to choose from, now is the perfect time for anyone to invest in their future.”

The workshop will be held on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 at Crye-Leike’s Midtown branch office located at 1819 Broadway in Nashville, starting at 6pm.

“Although the Home Buying 101 Workshop is geared more towards the first-time buyers and anyone who hasn’t owned a home in 3 years, everyone is welcome to attend.” said Lee. “I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is even considering buying a home right now to come sit down with us and go over all the concerns and questions you have. If you are currently renting, stop throwing your money away and start investing.”
