Affiliate Broker Mike Wooten joins Crye-Leike, REALTORS

Germantown, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS welcomes Affiliate Broker Mike Wooten to the company’s Forest Hill-Irene branch office located at 3030 Forest Hill-Irene in Germantown, Tennessee.

 

Before joining Crye-Leike, Mike was employed with both Union Planters Bank and then Regions Bank as Vice President. He worked as an Applications Development Manager in Information technology and worked there for 30 years.

 

“For a long time, I thought I’d retire and have real estate as my second career,” said Mike. “After being laid off when my job was relocated out of Memphis, I decided it would be a great time to get ready for my retirement job by getting my real estate license. Now that I have my license and have been getting my feet wet, I’ve found a new passion in this career.”

 

Mike is a licensed Affiliate Broker in Tennessee assisting buyers and sellers in and around Shelby and Fayette counties. He specializes in residential real estate and plans to pursue Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) training in April.

 

“I interviewed with several agencies in the area and found that Crye-Leike stood out as the best choice for me because of the company’s training opportunities, the work environment, the marketing department and the people,” said Mike. “Everyone I’ve met has been encouraging and willing to help me navigate my new surroundings. Mike lives in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife Cindy. He has two daughters Sarah and Alicia. Mike is a member and deacon at Second Baptist Church on Walnut Grove and in his free time enjoys hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening and watching the Memphis Red Birds.

 

“I’m looking forward to working with both buyers and sellers, making new friends and being more involved with the community,” said Mike. “New loan products and buyer incentives are making this a very exciting time to be involved with the industry. In my lifetime, I’ve never seen low mortgage rates and prices like we have today.”

 

Mike’s favorite quote by Steven Wright is “There’s a fine line between fishing and standing on the bank looking like an idiot.”  “I believe this phrase is an excellent analogy on life,” said Mike. “It’s all about results. I intend to work hard and not stop until my real estate clients get the results they are looking for.”
