MEMPHIS, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce Affiliate Broker Jimmie Tapley and her husband Broker Bob Tapley have been named to the 3rd annual Top 200 Real Estate Professionals in the country.  Their ranking, researched and compiled by REAL Trends, Inc. places the Tapley’s at Number 26 on the Top 200 List among “Team Transactions.”

The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, Inc. set out to identify the most successful real estate agents in the country for recognition through this annual project.

 

The Real Estate Top 200 rankings were announced in November 2008 at the National Association of REALTORS?’ Annual Conference and Expo in Orlando at a gala awards presentation and dinner.  The Top 200 agents came after exhaustive research by project coordinators who received nearly 2,000 completed applications and profiles.

 

“Simply put, these guys are good,” says Steve Murray, founder of the Denver-based REAL Trends, which compiled the list along with The Wall Street Journal and lore magazine. “Good people tend to do better when markets are tougher.”

 

The Top 200 list recognizes both teams and single agents.  Individuals must have generated a minimum of $30 million in annual sales volume and 75 transactions and for teams the qualifying minimum is $50 million in sales and 125 transactions.  As a team, Jimmie and Bob closed approximately 360 transactions.

 

Among the roughly 3,500 agents affiliated with Crye-Leike, REALTORS they were the only agents in the company selected for this esteemed honor. Another way to look at it is that they are now ranked in the top 1 percent of the more than 1.2 million REALTORS? nationwide.
