Crye-Leike, REALTORS Congratulates Affiliate Broker Frances Anderson

MEMPHIS, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce Affiliate Broker Frances Anderson has been named the 2008 Realtor Associate of the Year by the Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR).  She was presented with the honor at the Annual MAAR Awards Luncheon held January 21, 2009.  Frances was also the recipient of the Welcome Home Memphis Certification for Fair and Affordable Housing.


“I was truly surprised when I received the Realtor Associate of the Year 2008 award,” said Frances.  “I feel so humbled by the experience but mostly to know that I have the trust and respect from my peers is a great compliment.”


Each year the MAAR president and board members identify one Realtor who has demonstrated outstanding service and performance within the association and Realtor profession.  As the recipient of the Welcome Home Memphis (WHM) certification, Frances successfully completed 20 hours of education on selling affordable housing as defined by the Tennessee Housing Development Authority (THDA) and volunteered at least four hours with a nonprofit affordable housing provider in the community.


“I have always strived to help others and put myself in the place of what is the best situation for me to excel in,” said Frances.  “I credit my success in real estate to my devoted and supportive husband and my family and having a wonderful managing broker who told me when I started in the business to get involved at MAAR. The award and recognition is confirmation of that.”


Since 1999 Frances has been a licensed Realtor assisting buyers and sellers in and around Shelby County and Desoto County.  She is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi.  Frances specializes in residential real estate sales, first-time homebuyers, relocation, new construction, investment properties and pre-existing properties.


“I love real estate and a true reward is to help a first-time homebuyer get their first home and realize the American dream,” said Frances.  “I am a people person and have tried to live my life with the understanding to treat others as I wish to be treated.  If there is a helping hand needed I try not to wait for others to step up, I always ask what  can I do to help.”

Frances lives in Collierville and is based out of the company’s Hickory Ridge branch office located at 3565 Ridge Meadow Parkway in Memphis. Prior to her career in real estate sales, Frances was the owner and proprietor of a Memphis area Salon and Boutique.
