Congratulations to Crye-Leike, REALTORS Agent Cheryl Culp

FAYETTEVILLE, AR., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to congratulate real estate newcomer Agent Cheryl Culp, recently named by the Metro Area Board of Realtors (MABR) as it’s 2008 Rookie of the Year.  Cheryl is an Sales Agent with Crye-Leike based out of the company’s branch office in Fayetteville, Arkansas, located at 1280 East Stearns Street.

 

“This was so unexpected and such an honor for me,” said Cheryl. “A nomination alone is a honor but to actually receive it is unbelievable and an award I will cherish forever.”

 

The MABR award is given annually to the one agent selected who best exemplifies the spirit and professionalism of Realtors everywhere.  Cheryl places some of the credit on receiving the honor with Crye-Leike Fayetteville Managing Broker Dale McCauley, and Executive Broker Tracy Wheeler who placed her name and accomplishments in nomination.

 

“To be recognized by your peers in such a way is very humbling and appreciated,” said Cheryl.  “I have always believed that as a Realtor we have a wonderful opportunity to not only serve our clients and customers with a high level of professionalism but to serve our community.”

 

Cheryl is a member of the Metro Area Board of Realtors (MABR), Arkansas Realtors Association (ARA) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). With the ARA in 2007 Cheryl was appointed to serve on the Equal Opportunity Committee and with MABR she serves on the Education Committee and Project Realtor Restore.

 

“Through my involvement with our local, state and national associations and boards, I continue to gain education in the profession we serve,” said Cheryl.  “There are many Realtors who do this everyday and to be recognized for it makes me extremely proud.”

 

In addition to her involvement in various real estate related associations, Cheryl is an active member of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.  This past Christmas she helped lead an effort at the Crye-Leike Fayetteville office that provided a brighter Christmas for 16 children and four families in need at the Children’s House by giving them gifts and items they requested on a Christmas wish list.

 

Cheryl is a licensed Sales Agent in Arkansas, assisting buyers and sellers in and around Washington and Benton Counties.  She is a Certified Relocation Associate (CRA) with Crye-Leike, REALTORS specializing in all types of residential real estate sales. In 2008, Cheryl received her At Home With Diversity certification from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), a course that addresses issues of diversity, fair housing and cultural differences.

 

Prior to obtaining her real estate license Cheryl was employed for eleven years as a Medical Billing Supervisor at St. Mary’s Hospital.
