Benton, AR., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS agents are offering buyers and sellers a FREE Informational Workshop at the company’s Benton, Arkansas branch office. The seminar will provide FREE professional advice and information to prospective buyers and sellers who are considering a purchase or sale in today’s tricky housing market.

“We are offering a Free Homebuyers’ Seminar to anyone interested in starting the search for their next home,” said Crye-Leike Realtor Melinda Abernathy. “Now is a great time to buy with interest rates at a historical low and several homes on the market to choose from.”

Crye-Leike, REALTORS Melinda Abernathy and Angela Smithpeters will host the free informational homebuyer’s seminar on Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30 and welcome questions from prospective homebuyers and sellers. The seminar will be held at Crye-Leike’s Benton, Arkansas branch office located at 1900 Military Road.

“I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that is even considering buying a home right now,” said Abernathy. “If you are currently renting, stop throwing your money away and start investing. With so many homes on the market and interest rates being so low, now is the perfect time to start investing in your future.”

In addition to Crye-Leike agents, the program will include expert representatives who work with real estate clients in the lending and insurance business. Lender Melinda Williams will be available to discuss any financing questions and to help with getting pre-qualified. Insurance Agent Randall Gathright will also be in attendance to answer prospective homebuyer’s questions.

“This workshop will help people in our communities be familiar with all sides and aspects of the transaction and it will be a wonderful opportunity for them to discuss what’s going on in today’s market,” said Abernathy. “Overall, we want anxious sellers and first time buyers to be confident about the process in the current residential housing environment that we’re in right now.”

Topics up for discussion will include things such as improving your credit score, how and where to start looking for a home,  why home inspections are important, knowing what a buyer can afford, the benefits of a home warranty and most importantly why now is a great time to buy. Sellers can also find out about what things they can do to help sell their homes quicker in this current buyers market. Prospective sellers can hear what’s happening in their local housing market instead of all the gloom and doom they hear in national media reports.

“When working with a client, I strive to provide excellent professionalism and service by making sure they are completely involved in and understand every step of the process,” said Abernathy. “It’s important for the community to be educated about what’s involved in the buying and selling process. We encourage everyone to come ask questions, learn about buying and selling their home, and discover their best options in today’s market.
