Autographed Grizzlies Basketball & Titans Football Among More Than 200 Items At Crye-Leike, REALTORS 5th Annual Silent Auction & Raffle To Benefit Youth Villages

MEMPHIS, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce its 5th Annual Silent Auction & Raffle to benefit Youth Villages.  The event will be staged in the Main Lobby of Crye-Leike’s Corporate Headquarters Wednesday, November 19th through Saturday, November 22nd located at 6525 Quail Hollow in Memphis.


“We have supported Youth Villages for more than 20 years and we’re thrilled to be back for the 5th year with our silent auction and raffle,” said Lynda Drake, Event Coordinator and Crye-Leike, REALTORS Accounting Department Manager. “We have more than 200 prepared and donated items that will be up for auction this month, which is the most we’ve ever had.”


Items will be displayed beginning Wednesday, November 19th through Saturday, November 22nd in the Main Lobby of the Crye-Leike Corporate Headquarters on Quail Hollow.  Then on Saturday the 22nd at 2:00pm the silent auction will close and the raffle will take place.


“On Saturday we’re also adding something new to our event this year by having pictures with Santa for families, children and pets,” said Lynda.  “We’ll also have face painting for the kids, a cake walk and refreshments.”


Along with the Autographed Grizzlies Basketball and Titans Football other Silent Auctions items up for bidding include: Premium Grizzlies Tickets for the December 5th game against the LA Clippers, 2009 Memphis Tiger Season Tickets, Target Gift Cards, One Night’s Stay at the Peabody and at the Hilton with breakfast, Rooms at Harrah’s Bally’s, Fitzgerald’s and Sam’s Casinos, Zoo passes, Malco passes and lots more.


“Last year’s auction raised more than $12-thousand dollars for Youth Villages, and we hope to raise even more this year for this worthwhile organization,” said Lynda. “Many of the donated items come from Amit’s Hallmark Store in Trinity which has been a wonderful partner with us in the auction and raffle event the past five years.”


Youth Villages helps more than 11-thousand troubles children and their families each year in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and the District of Columbia.  Youth Villages offers many programs to families and children including; residential, foster care, home based treatment, group homes, adoption and a center for intensive residential treatment.


The agency’s goal is to get a child in crisis in less than one hour, de-escalate the crisis and determine the best place for the child at the time.  These practices save taxpayers’ money as well as the lives of children.


“We absolutely encourage anyone who would like to bid to drop by our headquarters office and join us in celebrating the season by submitting a winning bid on one of our great gifts and beautiful baskets and supporting Youth Villages,” said Lynda.  “Raffle tickets will also be available for just $1.00 and raffle prizes will also be on display.”
