Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announce Broker Patty Rainey has earned her Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.  Patty is a Broker in the company’s Collierville, Tennessee branch office located at 435 New Byhalia Road.

“The SRS education brings a balance to my business given that I have previously received my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation,” said Patty.  “In this challenging market it’s important to understand your clients’ needs from both sides of the transaction.”

With her recently earned SRES designation, Patty is now more qualified to represent the needs of clients age 50+.  Patty also believes that the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally has presented her with more leadership opportunities within industry organizations.

“The real estate market is continually changing and that requires that we as professional Realtors also continue to upgrade and enhance our skills,” said Patty.  “Although the general public is not familiar with all the designations behind my name they do understand that these designations represent many hours of study and experience and help me to give my clients the best representation possible.”

In addition to her recently earned designations, Patty is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), E-Pro Internet Specialist, Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) and Performance Management Network (PMN), which features a curriculum that enhances a Realtor professionally and personally.

Patty is the currently serving as the State President of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) a network of successful Realtors empowering women to exercize their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders.  She is a member of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR), Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors (NWMAR), Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).  With MAAR Patty serves on the Professional Standards Committee.

Since 1981 Patty has been a licensed Realtor.  Today as a Broker in Tennessee and Mississippi she works with buyers and sellers in and around Shelby, Tipton, Fayette and DeSoto counties specializing in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on first-time homebuyers, relocation and new home construction.  Patty is a Multi-Million Dollar Club member, MAARket Master Toastmasters and in 2006 served as the President of the local CRS chapter.

Patty lives in Collierville, Tennessee and has been involved in the real estate community all her professional life, serving on numerous leadership and board-level committees at the state and local level.  For years Patty has supported through her time and donations the Girl Scouts, Youth Villages and Habitat for Humanity and always makes time for her family.

“I moved to Memphis with my husband Chris and daughters Wendy and Chrissy in 1978, and as busy as I have become, I set aside plenty of family time, especially for one of my greatest joys which is my nine-month-old grandson Christian,” said Patty.  “The other members of the family, pets Barney, Penny, and Duke also get plenty of my time and affection too.”
