JONESBORO, AR., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is pleased to announcement the appointment of Realtor Belinda Wimpy as Executive Broker in the company’s Jonesboro, Arkansas branch office.  Belinda currently serves as President of the Arkansas Chapter of the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and recently received her Internet Realtor Profession e-PRO designation.


“We’re doing so much online and with nearly 90% of my clients starting their real estate search on the Internet, being e-PRO certified gives me the know-how to meet the demands of today’s buyers and sellers,” said Belinda.  “The course taught me the nuts and bolts of working with real estate on-line and that’s what today’s homebuyers and sellers really want.”


In addition to achieving her e-PRO designation, Belinda is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the REALTORS Institute (GRI) and successfully completed the National Association of Realtors “At Home With Diversity” course which is an outreach program designed to help Realtors and real estate companies improve the industry’s ability to serve culturally diverse consumers.


“I love being able to assist my clients in their endeavors whether they’re buying their first home or investing in their future through other properties,” said Belinda.  “Meeting new people along the way through my real estate journey has made my job an enjoyable adventure.

Belinda and her husband Mark live in the Valley View community of Jonesboro.  They have 2 daughters Hannah and Haley.  Belinda loves the work she does in the community which has included working as a volunteer and committee member to the St. Jude Superbowl ?Stavaganza and serving on the Board of Directors of the Clopton Clinic Charitable Foundation which provides Northeast Arkansas with the Best in Public Health Programs through education and community outreach on: diabetes awareness, women’s health and cancer patient education.  Belinda also assists the Clopton Clinic with fundraising for its annual gala, fundraising events and community education initiatives.  She has also volunteered countless hours at Valley View Schools throughout the years.


On a more personal note, 2008 is also the year marked by the birth of Belinda’s first grandchild.  Her granddaughter Ava Grace Fitzgerald was born to Belinda’s daughter Haley and son-in-law Tim Fitzgerald.  The family lives in Paragould, Arkansas.


“The birth of my first grandchild has been like a slice of heaven sent to me,” said Belinda.  “She is a blessing in my family and my husband and I are hoping to babysit as much as possible.” And Belinda added, “She is the freshest face of real estate in our family.”
