DICKSON, TN.- Crye-Leike, REALTORS sales associates in the company’s Dickson, Tennessee branch office are busy preparing for their 2nd annual Yard Sale & Bake Sale to benefit United Way of Dickson County.  The event will be held Saturday, September 27 from 8:00am to 4:00pm in the front parking lot of the office located at 1904 Highway 46 South in Dickson.

“We are very excited about this year’s United Way benefit and really need the support of individuals, organizations and even church groups that would like to get involved with us,” said Cindy Smith, Yard Sale Organizer and Affiliate Broker in the Dickson office.  “Last year we raised more than $1,400 and we are expecting to exceed that this year to help the growing number of people in the area who have recently fallen on hard times and have turned to United Way supported agencies for help.”

Saturday, September 27th beginning at 8:00am the Crye-Leike, REALTORS agents, staff and volunteers will have an assortment of items for sale including: clothes, toys, furniture, books, knick-knacks, exercise equipment, tools and much more.

“We have already had many people make donations but we’re still in need of more items,” said Smith.  “So we encourage folks to spend some time this weekend to clean out and unclutter their homes for us and in the coming days and weeks drop by our office and donate what they can to our big yard sale.”

Along with the items up for sale, Arror Exterminators is sponsoring and serving plate lunches.  Home made baked goods including: cakes, cookies, brownies, fudge and pies will also be for sale.

“Come enjoy the food and fun and maybe find a treasure or a great deal on something and support our local United Way,” said Smith.  “Now, more than ever, the United Way supported agencies in our community need our help.  We know money is tight for everyone right now, but it’s especially tight for those individuals on the brink of falling through the cracks and those who have suffered a recent medical setback or job loss.”
