HENDERSONVILLE, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Auctioneer Tim Brewer will once again be bringing his talents to the 2nd Annual Vince Young Celebration and Foundation Benefit Dinner on Thursday June 19, 2008.  Brewer is based out of the company’s Hendersonville Branch office location at 383 Johnny Cash Parkway in Hendersonville.

“Last year the live auction part of the event which is what I’m responsible for raised approximately $40,000 in about an hour,” said Tim.  “Apparently they liked what we were able to accomplish and asked us to come back again this year.”

The Inaugural Foundation Dinner in 2007 Raised More Than $175,000 For The Vince Young Foundation, The Pencil Foundation, The Keith Bulluck Believe & Achieve Foundation and the Tennessee Titans Foundation.

“I believe that it is essential to give back to the community that supports you and these organizations help kids and needless to say they are our future and vital we invest in them,” said Tim.  “I have been blessed to become the Number #1 Auctioneer in the Crye-Leike organization and I just want to do something to say THANKS to the Nashville area for allowing me to hold that title.  This is a great way of doing that.

In addition to raising monies for charities, this year’s dinner will also celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Tennessee Titans and honor some of the Titans greats from the past including Steve McNair, Eddie George and Frank Wycheck.

“One thing that really stands out about Vince is that he auctions his time,” said Tim.  “When I do other charity auctions I am usually auctioning items but Vince auctions time to spend with you.  Last year we auctioned dinner with Vince at his mother’s home and the bidding stalled at $7,500.00.  That’s when the voice of the Titans Mike Keith asked Momma Young what was for desert and she replied ?probably peach cobbler’ and that took the bidding to $10,000.00.

The Vince Young Foundation is dedicated to serving under-privileged children through programs that focus on empowering today’s youth to better utilize the educational and civic recourses available to them.  The foundation will also provide financial support to non-profit agencies that promote high self-esteem, self-confidence and a sense of self-worth among children.

Along with his support of the Vince Young Foundation Tim also brings his Auctioneer talents to the annual Boy Scouts charity event that raises money for scholarships.
