CRYE-LEIKE, REALTORS IN MURFREESBORO TO HOLD PARKING LOT – YARD SALE EVENT TO BENEFIT UNITED WAY OF CANNON & RUTHERFORD COUNTIES

MURFREESBORO, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS Sales Associates in Murfreesboro are encouraging and asking current and former clients to de-clutter their homes for an upcoming Realtor Parking Lot Yard Sale to benefit United Way of Rutherford/Cannon counties.  The morning half-day event will be held at the Crye-Leike Murfreesboro Broad Street branch office located at 1138 NW Broad on Saturday Morning, June 21, 2008 from 7:00am to 11:00am.

“We would love for anyone who’s interested and especially our past and current clients to join with us by making some great donations to our yard sale that will be held in the office parking lot,” said Crye-Leike Agent and event co-coordinator Jerri Boldin.  “We know everyone has some great slightly used household items they no longer want or need and those would be perfect for our sale.”

Realtors are asking anyone who con contribute to drop off items at the office on Friday June 20, the day before the Parking Lot – Yard Sale event. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

“Our clients who are selling their homes with us right now are great candidates to contribute to our fundraiser for United Way,” said Crye-Leike Agent and event co-coordinator Jon Curfman.  “If they’ve prepared their homes for sale with us, chances are they have stored many household items away or staged their home in a way that they’re removed stuff that they’ll no longer need or want anymore.”

In addition to items dropped-off for the sale, Crye-Leike associates will also be selling food and refreshments that are being donated to help people who are served by the agencies that are supported by United Way funds in Rutherford and Cannon counties.

“What’s the old saying, someone else’s trash is someone else’s treasure,” said Agent Jerri Boldin.  “That is so true, and in this case the treasure is two fold.  Someone who comes and makes a purchase at our sale can pick up something amazing and at the same time benefit the 41 agencies supported by United Way in our communities.”
