Crye-Leike Managing Broker Tracy Kirkley on-stage performing as the Desoto Diva

OLIVE BRANCH, MS., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to recognize its Managing Broker in Olive Branch Mississippi for her generosity and winning performance at the Mississippi Association of Realtors Political Action Committee (MARPAC) 2008 Talent Show and Fundraiser.  Tracy Kirkley was up against many talented entertainers at the annual event held Thursday June 5, 2008 at the REALTOR Center in Jackson Mississippi.

“It was a real honor to represent the Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors (NWMAR) in the talent contest and it was a lot of fun,” said Kirkley.  “The competition was fierce and every vote represented a $25 donation to MARPAC, so the audience members had to choose their favorites very carefully.”

Kirkley, billing herself as “The Desoto Diva” in the competition, walked away with the most votes and the first place prize of $500.00.  She immediately donated the money directly back to the sponsoring Realtor Political Action Committees which put together the annual fundraising event.

“MARPAC was the big winner of the evening’s event,” said Kirkley.  “The group benefited by receiving more than $15,000 in donations to help keep the voices of REALTORS and their clients heard among legislative leaders.”

MARPAC is the Mississippi Association of REALTORS? Political Action Committee. MARPAC collects money into one political fund and then, guided by strict formula, splits the money to support candidates and issues.
