MURFREESBORO, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Anne Lewis Henslee has joined with the Stones River Country Club (SRCC) to help lead a special recruitment campaign to attract new golf members.

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Anne served for nine years as the Director of Membership for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.  Managers and members alike at Stones River are clearly excited about how that experience can serve to attract more members to the club.

“At a recent Kick-Off Party, with more than 75 members in attendance, Anne gave a very motivating presentation to encourage members to call friends and invite them to play a round of golf and attend special events for potential new members,” said Tim Coleman, Stone River County Club General Manager.  “We saw the recent newspaper story about Anne joining Crye-Leike and after reading about her past experience with the chamber we said we need her recruiting talent and she knows a lot of people in the area.”

While at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, Anne recruited more than 400 new members, making it the 3rd largest chamber in Tennessee.  Under her direction the chamber’s member retention rate increased to 92%.

“It would be our desire to accomplish the same long term goal for Stones River,” said Ed Barlow, Membership Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the SRCC.  “We feel like we’re Murfreesboro’s best kept secret with many people not even aware of where we’re located let alone the benefits and the cost.”

One approach Anne is taking to stimulate membership at SRCC is to tie in her campaign with the federal government’s Economic Stimulus plan during the month of May.

“Families will be receiving their refunds and can join SRCC to “buy their family” a quality of life experience by improving their golf game, enjoying VIP dining and the social life, said Anne.  “Children will have a wonderful place to spend summers by learning golf, tennis and swimming.”

During the campaign, the SRCC is either reducing or waiving the standard Membership Initiation Fee depending on the membership level.

“New homeowners to the area should consider the club as a place to meet friends, blend into the community and become involved,” said Anne.  “Companies can add the membership as a recruiting tool for hiring and retaining talented members to their businesses”

Anne is a licensed real estate sales associate based out of the company’s Broad Street branch office located at 1139 NW Broad Street.  She assists buyers and sellers in and around Rutherford, Davidson and Williamson counties specializing in residential real estate with a focus on relocation.  Anne is a member of the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors (MTAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Since 2004 Anne has served on the Campaign Cabinet for the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, since 2003 she has served as a Chairwoman and Committee Member for the Go Red For Women and she is a 2000 Graduate of Leadership Rutherford.

Anne is an active member and past officer of the Murfreesboro Charity Circle, since 2004 she’s been an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and she currently serves on the Membership Committee of the Stones River Country Club.

“As a Realtor I see families relocate to our community everyday,” said Anne.  “I love that I was raised in Murfreesboro and one of the fondest memories of my childhood were the long days of summer at the Stones River County Club.  I enjoyed tennis and swimming with my friends, 4th of July barbeques and fireworks, the annual Easter egg hunt and so many other wonderful experiences.”

Anne lives in Murfreesboro with her husband Mike Henslee.  She has two daughters, Katie Allen (23) and Mary Allen (21) and enjoys spending time with her husband Mike’s two children Lauren Henslee (24) and Michael Henslee (22).  She and Mike are members of Northside Baptist Church and in her free time Anne enjoys gardening, cooking, exercise and cycling.
