HENDERSONVILLE, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Auctioneer Tim Brewer is running for the District 2 seat on the Sumner County School Board.  Tim is a licensed Associate based out of the company’s Hendersonville Branch office located at 383 Johnny Cash Parkway in Hendersonville.

“I believe that our kids are our largest asset, they are the voices of tomorrow, and without a great quality educational experience we may lose some of this and I think that would be a terrible tragedy,” said Tim.  “I also believe that great school systems have a direct effect on the property values in an area and needless to say as a property owner in Sumner County I want to keep those property values in check.”

Tim says as a school board member he will work hard to improve the communication between teachers, principals and the school board.

“I will be a voice for the people of my district and see that they have the representation that they deserve,” said Tim.  “I will bring a servants attitude to the board and let my constituents know that the board works for them.

Tim says there are people making donations to his campaign that he wouldn’t have thought would be interested.  He also has people signing up as volunteers and people are letting him know that he has their support.

“I am truly overwhelmed by the support that I have already,” said Tim.  “I feel that everyone should be treated with respect and I will work hard to see that this comes to the forefront of my campaign.”

Since 1991 Tim has been a licensed Realtor in Tennessee and became a licensed Auctioneer in 2000. He works with buyers and sellers in and around Sumner, Davidson, Robertson, Wilson and Williamson County.  Tim specializes in Real Estate Auctions with a focus on residential, commercial, investment, land development, estates, liquidations, partnership dissolutions and personal property. He is also a licensed Realtor and Auctioneer in Kentucky.

“When an heir of an estate contacts me they are usually so overwhelmed that they really don’t know what to do, and I can go into that situation and liquidate everything at fair market value and the heirs don’t even have to sweep the floor, I handle it all,” said Tim.  “I can be a very valuable service to someone who has just lost a loved one and even someone who has had a sudden event occur in their life and needs to sell a home faster than the conventional way.”

Tim is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). He is a member of the National Auctioneer’s Association (NAA), Tennessee Auctioneer’s Association (TAA), Sumner Association of Realtors (SAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Tim is a recipient of the Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards of Excellence from SAR.

In 2007 Tim was inducted into the Crye-Leike Circle of Excellence and given the honorary title of Vice President.  It’s the highest honor that Crye-Leike awards its agents for service to the company, community and their profession.

“I believe that when you truly help people, the rewards are greater than you can count,” said Tim.  “I learned years ago that you never put a commission before a client and as long as you take care of that person they will in turn take care of you.  This is why I became an auctioneer.”

With the SAR, in 2006 Tim served as the organization’s President.  He has also served on the Professional Ethics, Grievance and Public Relations committees. Tim has chaired the SAR Governmental Affairs and Member Services Committees and served on the Board of Directors.

“I like providing a service that really does bless the people that I deal with,” said Tim.  “It is with this spirit that I have thrown my hat in the ring to run for Sumner County School Board.  It is with this “servant’s heart” that I will serve on that board.”
