SPRINGDALE, AR., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS congratulates Managing Broker Kendall Riggins for his support of the 5th Annual Project Playhouse to benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates For Children) of Northwest Arkansas, Inc.  Riggins has pledged $1,000 to the upcoming event as a Real Estate Sponsor.

“I was a sponsor for last year’s benefit and really enjoyed getting behind a program that helps children in crisis,” said Riggins.  “Working with local builders we build large children playhouses that are on display at the Northwest Arkansas Mall for families and children to see and visit before they’re auctioned off on April 12th.”

The 2008 Project Playhouse will be held March 28 – April 12 at the NWA Mall.  It is CASA’s only signature fundraising event and raised more than $73-thousand dollars in 2007 to provide advocates to speak up for the best interest of abused children.

“We’ll be holding two open houses at the mall on March 29th and April 5th and I want to personally encourage families and children to come out and see the playhouses,” said Riggins.  “We’ll have lots of fun with face painting, CASA Tattoos, free Eddy’s Grand Ice Cream, a bean-bag toss, a fishing game and more.”

At last year’s event, Riggins not only stepped-up as a sponsor, he was also one of the winning bidders.  Riggins purchased a playhouse with a $5,000 donation to CASA.

“During Project Playhouse the public will also get a chance to weigh-in on the event with a People’s Choice contest,” said Riggins.  “Anyone who drops by can vote on their favorite playhouse and the winning builder will receive a special award and recognition.”
