CRYE-LEIKE, REALTORS CONGRATULATES BROKER ASSOCIATE KIM PIERATT ON EARNING HER CERTIFCATION AS A PROPERTY IMAGE CONSULTANT

DICKSON, TN., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that Associate Broker Kim Pieratt has earned her certification as a Property Image Consultant (PIC).  Pieratt is based out of the company’s Dickson Tennessee branch office located at 1904 Highway 46 South in Dickson.

 

Pieratt is the only licensed Realtor in Dickson County with the PIC designation.

 

“I went after the PIC designation because I strongly believe that after pricing, preparation and presentation of the home is the most important factor in generating a sale,” said Pieratt.  “Home Staging approaches the home more like a product and combines elements of feng shui, visual arts and design.  It is NOT home decorating.”

 

Pieratt says in staging? less is always more and the she’s primarily focused on how the potential buyer’s eye if going to be drawn throughout their visit to the property.

 

“It is a good bit of de-cluttering and good old fashioned cleanup,” said Pieratt.  “I know that it works because I have seen it work.”

 

Since 1995 Pieratt has been a licensed Affiliate Broker in Tennessee assisting buyers and sellers in and around Dickson, Hickman, Williamson and Cheatham counties.  She is a residential real estate specialist with a focus on single family homes as well as land and farms.  Pieratt is a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and prior to joining Crye-Leike, she was an associate with Coldwell Banker Dotson.

 

Pieratt is a member of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors (GNAR), currently serving on the Membership Committee.  Previously she was the GNAR Dickson County Chapter President and served on the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Pieratt relates one memorable experience to help put her appreciation for property image consulting in perspective.

 

“A few years ago I went on a listing appointment and decided to pass on it – the house just needed too much work.  The homeowner was really surprised when I told him NO, but he wanted to know what he should change to get me to change my mind,” said Pieratt.  “I left the appointment thinking I would never hear from him again, and to my surprise six weeks later he called to say he had done everything I asked him to do.  I took another look – and within three days of listing the property for him we had multiple offers and closed on the sale of his house in ten days.”

 

As a Property Image Consultant, Pieratt doesn’t charge the fees that “professional stagers” command.  She offers a more affordable approach, in which the homeowners do the re-arranging themselves based on her recommendations? ultimately making the home more appealing to prospective buyers.
