JACKSON, MS., – Crye-Leike, REALTORS congratulates General Manager Lynette Magee-Praytor, GRI, SRS, upon her earning the Prestigious Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation.

The CRB is presented by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers and is recognized industry-wide as the measure of success for real estate Brokers and Managers.  Realtors earning the designation have completed a comprehensive program combining experience with management education.

Lynette Magee-Praytor manages Mississippi real estate operations for Crye-Leike Realtors at 2050 Treetops Boulevard North in Jackson – duties she assumed in 2005.  As a licensed Realtor since 1995 in Tennessee and Mississippi, Magee-Praytor has assisted buyers and sellers in real estate transactions throughout the region.

Along with her responsibilities as the General Manager of the MS regional headquarters, Magee-Praytor is actively involved in the Jackson Association of Realtors, Mississippi Association of Realtors, and National Association or Realtors.  She is a former Chairman of, and has served as a member of, the Mississippi Real Estate Commission.

In late 2007 Magee-Praytor was installed as the President-Elect of the Mississippi Association of Realtors (MAR).  The association is the state’s largest business trade association representing more than 6,800 real estate professionals.  She has a keen interest in governmental affairs and in 2008 is serving as Chair of the MAR Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee.  She is currently enrolled in the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) first Leadership Academy and serves as Chair of the NAR Risk Management and License Law Forum and as a member of the national organization’s Risk Management Committee.

Through MAR, Magee-Praytor has previously served as a MARPAC Trustee, Vice-Chair of MARPAC, and Vice-Chair of Standard Forms and Professional Standards.  She is a recipient of the MAR President Award in 2001, Mississippi Realtor of the Year 2002, Graduate Leadership MAR 1999, Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors (NWMAR) Realtor of the Year, 50 Leading Business Woman in Mississippi in 2002 as well as Top 10 Business Women in Mississippi also in 2002.  In 2003 she was an Athena Award nominee.

Magee-Praytor lives in Brandon, Mississippi and supports communities throughout the region as a member of the Mississippi Economic Council and membership in Chambers of Commerce in Jackson, Ridgeland, Flowood, Madison and Rankin counties.
