BRENTWOOD, TN., – Crye-Leike, Realtors congratulations go out to Broker Dan Jordan, SCRP, CIPS, CRB, upon his recognition as the 2007 President’s Liaison of the Year by the International Division of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He is recognized for his five years of service as the NAR President’s Liaison to Ukraine Realtors Association. Jordan accepted the honors at the recent meeting of the International Division in Las Vegas Nevada.
“I realized early in my business career that real estate provided both for basic needs and the greatest long term appreciation of any investment,” said Jordan. “As we develop a more global economy, I feel it is important for our National Association of Realtor organizations around the world to maintain contact.”
The NAR has a President’s Liaison to approximately 75 counties worldwide and the individual who assumes the responsibility is the main contact between the NAR and the Realtors in the other County. The Liaison of the year honors is bestowed on that one individual who has exhibited the most outstanding service among his or her peers.
“I have especially enjoyed working with Realtors in Eastern Europe, “said Jordan. “Unlike the U.S. system of buying and selling real estate, these Eastern European nations have only had privately owned real estate since 1991.”
