Memphis, TN.- Crye-Leike, Realtors congratulates Broker Mary Sharp, CRB, CRS, GRI, SRES, e-PRO upon receiving her Welcome Home Memphis (WHM) Certification.  She is among just a handful of recipients who have completed the coursework necessary for this practical certification that promotes home ownership.

Initiated through a joint partnership of MAAR and the City of Memphis, WHM was created to identify, develop, advocate and promote homeownership assistance programs that are available for low- to moderate-income families.

“I truly understand the difficulty and challenges facing many families trying to afford a home today,” said Sharp.  “The two year period of coursework, volunteering with a local non-profit and active sales and listings of affordable properties has prepared me to assist every client with every option out there.”

The education certification program provides training for REALTORS? in the areas of affordable financing, down payment assistance, credit, qualifying for a mortgage, predatory lending, home maintenance and repairs, and foreclosure prevention.
