Congratulations to Crye-Leike Realtor Associates in Athens, TN for Fundraiser

ATHENS, TN., – Crye-Leike, Realtors is thrilled to announce that more than $1,800.00 was raised by associates in 2007 by the branch office “SUNSHINE COMMITTEE.”

Agencies benefiting from the generosity include: The H.O.P.E. Center, Athens Fire and Rescue Children’s Drive, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and United Way.

“I’m very proud of our associates who make “giving back” to our community a priority in their real estate sales business,” said Melonie Carideo, the Managing Broker of Crye-Leike Athens office.  “We try our best to help as many needy groups as we can each year, and spread our good fortune on to others.”

In addition to the money raised, associates have also gathered food, toys and school supplies throughout the year to benefit children across McMinn County.

Among the fundraising events held in 2007 was a Realtors Rummage Sale at the Crye-Leike, Realtors office located at 580 S. Congress Parkway.  Associates in the Sunshine Committee would also plan potluck lunches periodically as a way of raising money.

It was most recently that Associates reached out to The H.O.P.E. Center of Athens with a donation.  The agency provides shelter and supportive services for victims of domestic violence and rape / sexual assault in McMinn and Meigs Counties.
