Crye-Leike, Realtors Cobb/Cherokee Branch Work to Benefit Ronald McDonald House

Woodstock, GA.- Crye-Leike, Realtors associates are putting the finishing touches on their 30-foot-long children’s playhouse float that is set to ride in the Annual Christmas Jubilee Parade on Dec. 1st beginning at 4 p.m. Cobb/Cherokee office associates and Reardon York Properties teamed up in the building and raffle of the playhouse with proceeds benefiting Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.

“We’re very excited to have this ultimate children’s playhouse in the parade and we’re working hard to make the float decorative and festive,” said Jennifer Mansell, Managing Broker of the Cobb/Cherokee office. “Our realtors will be dressed in holiday colors, wearing Santa and elf hats and handing out candy and Crye-Leike merchandise.”

The parade will head toward the city of Woodstock on Highway 5 and end at Appalachian Technical College. Following the parade, festivities will continue at the Downtown City Park where children and families can visit with Santa and watch the lighting of the Woodstock Christmas tree.

“We’re hopeful the mayor will award us a trophy for having one of the top floats in the parade,” Mansell said.

Reardon York Properties built the 6-foot long, 6 1/2-foot wide cream-colored playhouse that will be raffled on Dec. 15 at the Cobb/Cherokee office. The exterior of the playhouse is complete with shaker shingles, a burgundy door, and a small front porch. The interior has bead board, crown molding and a custom-made window with locks.

“The money we donate from the raffle will help build a new 50-bedroom Ronald McDonald House near Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston,” Mansell said. “We’re excited to be working with the Ronald McDonald Houses because they provide a much needed home away from home for sick children receiving medical treatment at local hospitals.”

Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Cobb/Cherokee office, located at 13190 Highway 92 in Woodstock, or from any other Crye-Leike agent or office in Atlanta. Tickets are one for $2 or three for $5. For more information, contact the Cobb/Cherokee office at 770-517-2272.
