CRYE-LEIKE, REALTORS OF DICKSON EXTEND A BIG THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY FOR HELPING TO MAKE ITS FIRST UNITED WAY FUNDRAISER A HUGE SUCCESS
DICKSON, TN.- Crye-Leike, Realtors associates in the company’s Dickson, Tennessee office raised $1,420.00 for the local charities of United Way. The monies came from a yard and bake sale held Saturday, October 13, 2007.
“We had a steady flow of traffic all day long,” said Cindy Smith, Crye-Leike Affiliate Broker and Event Chairperson. “At one point the cars had to park on Highway 46 South in front of the office because the parking lot was full.”
There was an assortment of donated items for sale from associates, their friends and families that included: clothes, toys, furniture, books, knick-knacks, exercise equipment, tools and much more.
“A special thanks goes out to Arrow Exterminators and its donation of BBQ, chips, cole slaw and desserts,” said Smith. “Our business partners, Realty Title & Escrow and Magna Bank also came through with donated drinks.”
A cake walk, an assortment of donated baked goods for sale and face painting by Leandra Sumabat – Miss Dickson County Fairest of the Fair 2007 all helped to push the funds raised to $1,420 for United Way.
It was the first time the associates and employees of the Dickson office held such an event at their office located at 1904 Highway 46 south in Dickson. Many hope it will become an annual affair each fall.
