Crye-Leike, Realtors Athens office ?Realtor Rummage Sale? a success

BRENTWOOD, TN.- Crye-Leike, Realtors agents from the Athens, Tenn. office raised nearly $1,100 during their “Realtor Rummage Sale” held on Sept. 22 in the office’s parking lot.

 

“We had this event as a fundraiser for charities and as a way to give back to our community,” said Athens Affiliate Broker Yvonne Jernigan. “Clothes and miscellaneous household items were donated by agents and clients and almost all were priced at $.50 to $1.”

 

During the Realtor Rummage Sale, fresh baked goods and coffee were sold alongside the various items for sale. The Athen’s office also hosted a lunch entr?e sale earlier in the week. The total funds from both the lunch entr?e and rummage sale were approximately $1,300. The funds will be dispersed to the American Cancer Society, United Way and Rescue Squad charities.

 

“We hope that our efforts display our commitment to our community and we will continue events like these in the future,” said Managing Broker Melanie Carideo. “It’s not only fun to get together as an office for such events, but it’s important to show that you care for and support others.”

 

Athens office participants in the events were: Melonie Carideo, Laverne and George Tuell, Alma Sliger, Wyenema Pierce, Becky Wattenbarger, Leah Rock, Melanie Walker, Wayne Rutherford, Healther Mckeehan, Bev and Fred Cooper, Ida Benard, Dottye Odle, Genie Bevis, Kim Wade, Charlene Franzen and Yvonne Jernigan.
