Crye-Leike Appoints Manager of Career Development
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nations 6th largest real estate company, has named Mellany Spencer as Manager of Career Counseling over the Greater Clarksville area. In her new role, Spencer will be responsible for the recruitment of new sales associates joining Crye-Leike’s established offices in Montgomery County. These new associates will become part of a team of over 3,500 associates serving 56 counties throughout a seven-state Southern region.
“Establishing a career counseling manager is a natural step for us as we focus on a more concerted effort in recruiting quality sales associates in this marketplace,” commented Rob Hatchett, Director of Career Development. “We are excited to have Mellany with us as we work towards strengthening our existing offices.”
Spencer will assist the managing brokers of the St. Bethlehem and Sango branch offices with Crye-Leike’s recruiting duties, including the facilitating of career nights, as well as identifying and recruiting both new and established real estate agents in the Greater Clarksville area. She will assist with the beginning stages of the interviewing process, providing valuable insight to managing brokers as they develop both the Crye-Leike name and team in the marketplace.
Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Spencer spent four years as an office manager with Walker Chiropractic. With four years of real estate sales experience, she is licensed in both Tennessee and Kentucky. She will continue in her pursuits as an affiliate broker, associated with the Clarksville – St. Bethlehem branch office, specializing in residential, first-time homebuyers, relocation and new home construction. Spencer holds membership in the National, Tennessee and Clarksville Associations of Realtors, where she serves on the Entertainment Committee.
Spencer was the 1998 recipient of the coveted Mary Walker Award, recognizing outstanding spouses of the military who have demonstrated exemplary and dedicated volunteerism, improving the quality of life for soldiers and their families.
