Crye-Leike Realtor Selected As Tennessee Association Of Realtors 2006 Good Neighbor
MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Crye-Leike, Germantown-Poplar, proudly announces that the Tennessee Association of Realtors (TAR) has named Harold Blockman as the recipient of the 2006 Good Neighbor Award.
Blockman was selected for this honor from among a large number of deserving nominees from across the state. The Tennessee Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award recognizes those who make exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their communities. Award recipients are recognized as models for others, showing what one person can do to make a difference. Blockman was awarded $500 to be donated to the charity of his choice, with Habitat for Humanity receiving the donation.
Serving as a volunteer and sponsor for Habitat for Humanity for six years, Blockman continues his community service efforts through several other Memphis area organizations. As the 2005 chairman of the Youth Villages 5K, his hard work helped in raising over $90,000 for the children and family oriented organization. Other activities include work with one-on-one tutoring in the Memphis City School system, the Shelby County Education Foundation, City of Memphis – Memphis Beautiful Commission, Memphis City Schools Hall of Fame Banquet, Adopt-a-School and Our Children Our Future.
Blockman is affiliated with the Germantown – Poplar branch office, located at 7700 Poplar Ave., specializing in residential and commercial real estate. He is designated as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and is a member of the Crye-
Leike Multi-Million Dollar Club (MMDC). Additionally, Blockman holds memberships within the National, State and Memphis Area Associations of Realtors.
