Crye-Leike Acquires Own Cookeville Tennessee Franchise
NASHVILLE, TN.- Crye-Leike, Realtors announced today the conversion of its Cookeville, Tennessee franchise, Crye*Leike of the Upper Cumberland, to become a company-owned branch office. The acquisition was prompted by the emerging growth in Putnam County and surrounding areas, reports Harold Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike.
The Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors (UCAR) “Realtor of the Year,” Evon Heady, has been named managing broker and branch manager. She will be responsible for the recruitment and management of sales associates who specialize in residential, commercial, farm, land and auction real estate sales, serving the Upper Cumberland region of Putnam, Overton, Cumberland, Jackson, Dekalb, Fentress, Clay, Macon, Pickett, Smith and White counties.
A Crye-Leike associate since 2004, Heady has over 16 years of real estate experience and is a member of the Crye-Leike Multi-Million Dollar Club. She was named UCAR Realtor of the year in both 2003 and 2005, and last year served as President of the Women’s Council. “This is such an exciting time for our associates and our community,” commented Heady. “This transition will provide us the support and resources to set the market on fire. And, to be able to proudly announce that we are a part of the 6th largest real estate company in the country – what an amazing opportunity for our future home buyers and sellers.”
Crye-Leike’s Cookeville franchise was established in July 2004. Twenty-six sales associates formally affiliated with the franchise Crye*Leike of the Upper Cumberland have transferred their real estate license to the Crye-Leike corporation.
Heady noted that the office will now have access to Crye-Leike’s fully automated and staffed appointment center, a signature feature in all Crye-Leike offices. The appointment center will be open 13 hours a day, seven days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. “With the appointment center open longer hours, our sellers are assured more showings,” said Heady. “Additionally, we will make it easy for any real estate agent in the area who wants to show a Crye-Leike property to be able to do so by making one simple phone call to our appointment center and the showing is coordinated from there.”
The Cookeville office, located at 1400 Neal Street, joins the Crye-Leike network as one of 65 branch offices and 30 franchise offices located throughout a seven state Mid-South region.
