Crye-Leike’s Joy Dixon Earns Broker’s License

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) recently announced that Joy Dixon of Crye-Leike, Realtors, has received her broker’s license after successfully passing the real estate broker licensure examination.


To become eligible for the examination, Dixon met strict experience and education requirements as a broker candidate.  Broker candidates must hold an active license as an affiliate broker for a minimum period of time, and must successfully complete 120 classroom hours of real estate education, 30 of which must be an office or brokerage management course at a TREC approved school.


Dixon, a Windstone resident, is a full-time real estate broker affiliated with Crye-Leike’s REO Division, located at 1510 Gunbarrel Road.  With over 20 years of real estate experience, Dixon serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Hamilton County.  Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, she specializes in helping home owners prepare their home to sell faster and at top dollar by showcasing their homes best and unique features.  She is a member of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.  In 2005, she was a multi-million dollar producer, closing 43 real estate transactions.


Joy, an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) is passionate about sharing the benefits of “staging” a home to sell and has been a frequent guest speaker for community groups and associations.  Her best-selling book, “Spring Cleaning for the Soul,” and her tips on creating magic in the home have earned her a guest appearance on “OPRAH” and numerous appearances on “HGTV” and Nashville’s “Crook & Chase,” along with feature articles in newspapers and magazines across America.
