Crye-Leike Expands Operations into Cabot, Arkansas, in Lonoke County
Little Rock, Ark – Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation’s 10th largest real estate company, is expanding its branch office operations northward into Cabot, Arkansas to meet the exploding neighborhood growth in Lonoke County, reports Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.
Crye-Leike’s Cabot branch office opened for business on May 2, 2005 in temporary leased office space, located at 200 Westport Drive, Suite A., one-half mile north of Highway 167 and near Wal-Mart and the Community Bank building. Crye-Leike is leasing office space in Westport Plaza from PTM, LLC, a property management company owned by Joe Park of Cabot.
Cabot marks Crye-Leike’s 10th branch office to open in Central Arkansas, with a total of 14 branch and franchise offices in the state of Arkansas. Before its Cabot addition, Crye-Leike’s most northeastern office in Central Arkansas was located in North Little Rock.
“Lonoke County is experiencing a boom in the housing market that has tripled its size over the past nine years,” says Crye. “Adding a Crye-Leike branch office in Cabot creates a gateway to northeast Little Rock for our company. Our sales associates are now better able to serve clients in north Pulaski and Lonoke Counties as well as in the surrounding counties of Faulkner, Prairie, White and Woodruff.”
To accommodate an anticipated growth in sales force, Crye plans to build a new, permanent office facility within the next 12 months. “We intend to build our own building, but we’re just looking for that ideal location,” says Crye.
Melanie Ferrantelle has been named managing broker of Crye-Leike’s Cabot office who comes to Crye-Leike with over 12 years of sales experience in the real estate industry. She will manage a sales force of up to 20 Crye-Leike sales associates in the office’s temporary location, with plans to recruit additional sales associates as the office gets closer to move into a larger office facility.
“We just opened our doors and already have outgrown our office space of 2,400 sq. feet,” says Ferrantelle. ” We see this office as a way for Crye-Leike to better serve the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville as well as accommodate the influx of homeowners attracted to this ?bedroom’ community that offers small town living with big city access.”
Ferrantelle’s son, Austin, who is graduating in a few weeks from Cabot High School, will have the largest graduating class in the history of the school, she says. “The Cabot school system’s student population has grown significantly over the last few years, accommodating over 8,000 students; that’s a lot of students for this area that once was a small town.”
Individuals who have recently joined Crye-Leike’s sales force in Cabot are: Doug Ekrut, Stan Guinn, Brandi Knowles, Eileen Krause, June Leftwich, Shannon Niswonger, and Roger Turqueza.
